About
About Moonlit
Moonlit is an independent hobby project about the tools and craft behind making things: posters and printables, crafts and cut files, photos, and short films.
Why it exists
Most "best tools" lists are long, vague and quietly sponsored. Moonlit tries to be the opposite: short, practical guides that say what a tool is good at, what it costs to get started, and which free option does the job just as well.
How posts are written
- Free options first. Every guide starts with what you can do without paying.
- Checked against official sources. Features, licenses and platforms are checked on each tool's own site when a post is written. If something can't be confirmed, it's left out or stated generally.
- No fake reviews. No invented test results, star ratings or made-up statistics.
- Things change. Software updates and license terms change, so always check the official site before you rely on a detail.
Affiliate links
A few pages contain affiliate links, always marked with #ad. They never decide what gets recommended, and every page that has one says so at the top. Read the disclosure for details.
